WILD DOG & CONSERVATION SAFARI 4 NIGHTS

Experience an exclusive Wild Dog and Conservation Safari that gives you the opportunity to get involved and hands-on with endangered wildlife.

The combination of safari adventure and conservation will set the tone for an unforgettable visit to the wildlife hub of South Africa that is nestled between the Drakensberg Mountains to the west and the world-famous Kruger National Park to the east.

This two-fold experience falls into the rhythm of an African safari with guided Big 5 walks each morning and game drives in an open safari vehicle each afternoon. This where you can share the intimate connection with Africa, become aware of all your senses and tune in with nature.

The second is where you get to share the safeguarding of the natural heritage of South Africa with likeminded people pulling in the same direction. The Conservation safari is about people and how we impact on the natural world around us. Being able to share some of South Africa’s conservation work with you as our visitor, not only will it give you a bucket list experience, but insight into what is needed to protect the country’s endangered wildlife. Wild Dogs faces various threats due their large home ranges, leaving them vulnerable to human-wildlife conflict and interaction with ferrel dogs, where they can pick up diseases.

Please note – we urge you to follow the rules of wild dog engagement as explained by the local guide, to ensure respectful and safe interaction with animals at all times. We do deal with wild unpredictable animals and the outcome of each experience differ.

  • Exclusive Wild Dog interaction
  • 8 guests only
  • Big 5 Guided Walk each morning
