Embark on one of the most stylish and luxurious ways to explore Africa – by flying charter plains and staying in exclusive camps. Visit two of Zimbabwe’s most epic destinations – Victoria Falls and Hwange National Park.
The Victoria Falls, also known as “The smoke that thunders” remains one of the most spectacular natural wonders in the world. Enjoy a helicopter flip or elephant back safari after a tour of this incredible sheet of falling water. Have lunch 200m above the crashing Zambezi River on the edge of the Batoka Gorge.

Experience all of this excitement without staying in the bustle. Your lodge is situated away from the Vic Falls at a private tented camp on the Zambezi River inside the Zambezi National Park. Here you can enjoy game drives and riverside picnics to your heart’s content or go canoeing, fishing, sundowner cruise at the camp, and a village visit to Sidobe.

Your next stop is Hwange National Park, one of the greatest parks of Zimbabwe where your lodge is strategically placed to explore the remote and unspoiled southeastern portion of the park. Game drives take you from Pan to Pan, weaving your way between the throngs of jostling elephant that come pouring in for the fresh water. The park is, indeed, known for its massive elephant populations.

In Hwange you’ll also get to partake in hands on conservation. The pump runs, as they are called, combine game viewing in remote areas of the park with practical hands-on conservation. Guests can assist their guide with day-to-day maintenance at the borehole pumps, which are the heartbeat of Hwange National Park and its wildlife.

The camp where you’ll be staying will treat you with a champagne brunch beside a pan, banquet dinner under a massive camelthorn tree and private bush dinners in secret locations. Watch the sun rise from your private deck and enjoy endless views across this incredible reserve. Getting close up to Africa’s pristine wildlife, will be an experience never to be forgotten.

While in the Zambezi National Park, guests will stay in a tented lodge situated within the western area of the park, on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River, upstream of the Victoria Falls.

The eight luxury tents have a king-sized bed or two twins, a private splash pool and deck overlooking the river below. The main camp area includes dining room, lounge and bar with shaded outdoor deck for alfresco dining experiences.

In Hwange National Park, guests will be staying at a flagship lodge, nestled in a patch of pristine woodland just west of Ngamo on the edge of the southeastern corner of Hwange National Park. The lodge features a huge centerpiece ancient Camelthorn tree.

The forest villas are 82sqm each in size and feature sturdy stonewalls. There is an outdoor maisonette with hammocks – ideal for a siesta or a night ‘under the stars’. The large bedroom and lounge area have sliding glass doors, overhead fans and a fireplace.

Day One & Two

Guests arrive at Victoria Falls Airport where they are met and transferred by road (60min) to Zambezi National Park to their lodge for the next three nights. After settling in, there’s an afternoon game drive, stopping off at a scenic spot for sundowners and canapés. A night drive back to the lodge is followed by a three-course under the stars.

Early morning tea & coffee is followed by breakfast and a game drive & walk. Lunch is a packed picnic followed by a siesta before taking a slow drive back to the lodge in the afternoon. Relax at the camp before a game drive inside the park, stopping for evening drinks and snacks on the river bank. After freshening up at the lodge, guests depart to a secret spot for an outdoor bush dinner.

Day Three & Four

After an early breakfast, guests head to Victoria Falls town for a guided tour of the falls. After a trip into the rainforest, guests head to the top of Batoka Gorge for lunch. Back in town, guests can enjoy an elephant back ride or helicopter flip over the falls before heading back to camp. Cocktails by the campfire are followed by dinner in the main lodge.

A guided walk within the park follows sunrise tea or coffee. After breakfast in the main lodge, guests are transferred by road to Victoria Falls Airport (1 hour) to catch an air charter over Hwange National Park to the lodge (1 hour). After settling in and lunch, there’s an afternoon game drive into Hwange National Park and a visit to an underground blind for drinks and snacks. A night drive back and a bush dinner at the waterhole end the day.

Day Five & Six

After early morning tea or coffee guests pack day packs for a full day trip into the park where they can take part in a pump run followed by a picnic and a leisurely afternoon game drive back to the lodge. Campfire refreshments and a three-course dinner in the main lodge area bring the day to an end.

On day six guests enjoy breakfast in the main lodge area before heading to the nearby Ngamo village for a village and school tour and to learn about the community initiative projects. Guests enjoy lunch beside a waterhole at the lodge and head out on an afternoon game drive or a guided walk along the elephant paths on the edge of the park. After sundowners, a 4×4 will take them back to camp to freshen up before dinner, followed by coffee, hot chocolate or a nightcap around the campfire.

Day Seven & Eight

After morning coffee, guests head out to one of the pans for a champagne brunch. A leisurely drive takes them back to the lodge where they can enjoy bird watching around the camp or taking a siesta. An afternoon game drive takes them to a spot for sundowners beside a watering hole. Back at the lodge, dinner is a stylish farewell banquet under the Camelthorn tree.

Day eight starts with a final early morning coffee and sunrise followed by a guided walk into the Hwange National Park. Return to the lodge for a scrumptious breakfast before packing up and catching a charter flight over Hwange National Park back to Victoria Falls.
