Tanzania’s most spectacular treasure lie spread before you on this exceptional adventure through its most scenic landscapes and richest wildlife areas. Lake Manyara National Parkoffers a wilderness experience in diverse habitats, from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the vast elephant herds it was established to protect. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingo, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. The Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas. It’s Tanzania’s oldest game reserve and renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope – mostly wildebeest – migrate to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Serengeti National Park is also home to the Olduvai Gorge, where groundbreaking archaeological discoveries have been made, as well as the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater – a World Heritage Site. A landscape like no other on earth, the awe-inspiring Ngorongoro Crater offers infinite views over a beautiful natural haven where exceptional wildlife encounters lie around every corner. Your trip combines luxury and adventure and you can look forward to dinners on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, personal service, private sundowners, remote camps offering the epiphany of luxury, and front row seats to the greatest show on earth – The Great Migration.

In Arusha, guests will stay out of the city on a nearby coffee plantation. An elegant suite looks our over the gardens and features a 32” flat-screen television, Wi-Fi, private sun terrace with log-fire burner, balcony terrace, mini bar, room service, personal attendant and tea & coffee making facilities. In Lake Manyara National Park accommodation is in an elegant, stilted tree house, which is cradled in the boughs of mahogany trees. Rooms are built of timber and makuti (palm fronds) and have spacious sitting areas, viewing decks and lovely en suite bathrooms. Perched on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater, the award-winning lodge where guests will stay in this conservation area is world class. Nowhere else on earth can you wake up among all the trappings of an elegant baroque chateau – brocade sofas, gilt mirrors, beaded chandeliers and paneled walls – and be instantly transported into one of the most famous African landscapes with just one glance out the window of the lodge. In the Serengeti, guests have three options. The first is in the Kuka Hills and boasts magnificent views of an exclusive wilderness concession that borders the vast Serengeti plains. The second is Rustic yet sophisticated and lies right in the path of the Great Migration – exceptionally situated for dramatic river crossings, as well as an abundance of resident wildlife. The third is a luxurious, semi-permanent tented camp that moves around the Serengeti bringing guests within range of the massive herds of the Great Migration.
